Abstract

The author re-examines archive documents on the excavations in the necropolis of Casalta (AR) between 1701 and 1707. He identifies a bucchero chalice and an olla decorated “a cilindretto”, already in the collection Ciogni in Siena, with two vases in the Museum of Leida.
