Abstract

The Author presents a new variety of blank selection analysis based on the function of the flint implements according to the results obtained from the traceological analysis. The study of the assemblages from two Mesolithic sites of Southern Bessarabia, Myrne and Bilolisja, allows to hypothesize a shift in the model of knapping organisation. The ex planation of this change is to be searched in the mobile economy of the Mesolithic hunter-gatherers.
