Abstract

This contribution intends to offer a global outline of all roman floorings gained until now in the town of Altino (Venice), during the archaeological investigation carried out in twenty century. Through a brief catalogue, drawing on the typology, the technical and iconographical elements, the decorative elements and the chronology. They are eighty floorings belongs to private domestic residences, placing mostly in a chronological period between the end of the first century B.C. and the second century A.C.
