Abstract

This paper descrives the contemporary pottery production in three villages of Upper Sindh located in the Thari district of Pakistan. Strong similarities exist between the pottery manufacturing techniques of Pakistan and lndia, their contemporary traditions, and those of the lndus Valley Civilisation.
